General Policies

By participating in any Mason Dive Academy activities, including practices, meets and social events, all athletes and parents agree to the following policies. By participating as part of the Mason Dive Academy parents and athletes must abide by the policies outlined below. Policies may be changed without notice.  Failure to abide by these policies may result in ejection from practice or the team.

All payment for tuition is billed using recurring billing via credit card through this website.  All tuition is billed on the first of each month. If you would like to modify or cancel your training, simply log into this website and modify your training or billing information in the Mange Training section under the Members tab.  If you choose to cancel or modify your membership, you must log into your account and cancel by the last day of the month in order to discontinue billing for the upcoming month the Coaching staff and Webmaster will not cancel classes or change class schedule of any individual. 

All tuition payments are based on a monthly basis.  Included in this tuition in the recognition that some months have more weeks than other months.  Additionally, some months have holidays where we will not have practice and no dive days due to other competitions hosted by our facility.  Although the number of training days changes slightly on a monthly basis, over the course of several months this evens out.  Because of this, tuition is the same regardless of the number of weeks or holidays in a particular month.  Holidays where we may not have practice include: New Year Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and the Friday and Saturday afterwards, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.   

While practices cancelled due to inclement weather are considered an act of God, we will offer the ability to make these practices up through our regularly scheduled classes within four weeks of the incident.

All payments are due in full by the 1st week of the month. All payments will be set up for automatic billing by Credit Card. Once a new month has started, any diver not paid in full or not on a payment schedule MAY NOT PARTICIPATE UNTIL PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED. All payments are final.

Only in the event of long term injury, will there be a fee adjustment. Please make requests for fee adjustment in writing or e-mail following a verbal explanation (NOT during a practice please).

Parents and/or family members are more than welcome to stay & watch their children from the bleachers unless they are volunteering on the pool deck during practices.

Athletes and parents must make arrangements for transportation. Divers must make every effort to be on time for practices (try for minimum 10-15 minutes early).  Make sure divers pick up is 15 minutes early. MDA coach(es) will not provide transportation, at the conclusion of practice all athletes must vacate the pool deck promptly.

Athletes are to be picked up and dropped off in Parking lot C on the George Mason campus and us the athlete entrance.
